“Think Business, Think Hong Kong” flagship promotion in Bangkok
Smart City Consortium (SCC) will stage a Hong Kong Smart Living Pavilion at the “Think Business, Think Hong Kong” flagship promotion on 13-14 July 2023 in Bangkok, Thailand, to introduce Hong Kong companies’ smart living technologies to corporate users from Thailand and nearby countries.
Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the “Think Business, Think Hong Kong” Expo is a signature promotion campaign to showcase Hong Kong as a resilient business and innovation hub facilitating global businesses to capture new demands and realise business opportunities worldwide. The event will be held Centara Grand and Bangkok Convention Centre, Bangkok, Thailand, where Hong Kong and Thai business communities will convene to explore new partnership opportunities through networking, meetings and insight exchanges. A wide array of innovative products from Hong Kong will be displayed. SCC is a supporting organization of the event.
The concept of Smart City embodies the use of advance technologies to improve city management and people’s quality of living. With increasing urbanization, city administrators face a lot of challenges, according to Mr Gary Yeung, President of SCC.
At the forefront in smart city services, Hong Kong has a lot of smart living technology companies and a large pool of skilled professionals, providing solutions to almost every aspect of daily lives, said Mr Yeung.
He said, on display at the “Smart Living Pavilion” in the Hong Kong promotion, will be solutions to many urban challenges, making people’s lives more efficient, more controllable and economical. They include:

• Smart Indoor Mapping & Digital Twins

This project is organised by Smart City Consortium (SCC) and funded by the Trade and Industrial Organisation Support Fund of the Trade and Industry Department, HKSAR Government.
