  • 旅遊業具有顯著的空間特徵，而地理空間技術可用於生態旅遊規劃、旅遊運營的影響評估、遊客流量管理以及酒店營銷。是次工作坊將為參與者提供業界領先的網絡地圖應用實踐經驗，同時學習地理空間技術。

Tourism and Hospitality – “The Application of GIS in Sustainable Tourism Planning (Workshop)”

  • Tourism has significant spatial characteristics. Geospatial techniques may be used in the tourism industry for ecotourism planning, impact assessment of tourism operations, visitor flow management, and hospitality marketing. This workshop will provide participants with direct hands-on experience to industry-leading web-based mapping applications while learning the geospatial techniques. Participants will make use of multiple sources of spatial data from the Common Spatial Data Infrastructure (CSDI) to plan for a more sustainable tourism.
