在華懋集團執行董事兼行政總裁蔡宏興先生與SCC創辦人及榮譽會長鄧淑明博士見證下，華懋集團數碼轉型總監胡達明先生及SCC會長楊文銳先生7月23日簽署備忘錄，攜手促進香港智慧城市發展。

根據備忘錄，SCC將訂立一套有關使用及維護智能建築物聯網設備的評級標準，以及網絡安全指引。而華懋集團提供資金贊助，並安排集團旗下物業成為新制訂物聯網房地產科技標準的試點，以提高其智能建築的網絡安全。

此外，雙方亦會攜手組織活動推動香港的智慧城市願景，以智能建築和物聯網連接框架發展為重點。

Chinachem Group and SCC signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on July 23 to collaborate in propelling smart city development and helping elevate cybersecurity standards in Hong Kong. The move underlines the determination of both parties to foster the development of Internet of Things (IoT) and property technology (PropTech) in Hong Kong.

The MoU was signed by Mr Damien Wu, Director of Digital Transformation of Chinachem Group and Mr Gary Yeung, President of SCC; witnessed by Mr Donald Choi, Executive Director and Group CEO of Chinachem Group and Dr Winnie Tang, Founder and Honorary President of SCC.

The Connected Cities Conference (virtual), organized by KPMG jointly with SCC and a number of corporations on July 6, was part of the StartmeupHK Festival 2020. The conference featured global and regional speakers from academia and business to showcase a number of smart technologies from around the world including IoT, AI and data analytics to enhance a city's livability, workability and sustainability. SCC staged a virtual booth at the Conference.

SCC 支持政府向鄰近地區推廣香港科技，除了應邀向政府推薦一些在抗疫有出色表現的科技企業外，並參加貿易發展局在6月30日面向泰國用家舉行的「COVID 19 預防、政策、監察」網上業務洽談會，向泰國政府及潛在用家介紹SCC的疫情互動地圖儀表板。

SCC was asked by the Government to support the technology promotions to ASEAN countries. In addition to recommending a number of Hong Kong enterprises with outstanding achievement in anti-virus technologies, SCC also participated in the “Prevent, Detect, Monitor Covid-19 – HK Technology Solutions” activities organized by the HKTDC on June 30. The Covid-19 Interactive Map Dashboard was introduced to Thai government officials and buyers.

Smart City Academy (SCA), Hong Kong Institution of Engineers and IVE Engineering organized an online seminar on “Smart City Development for the Future” on June 11. Dr Kenneth Tang, Chairman of SCC’s SDI Committee spoke on “Smart Urban Planning for Hong Kong”. 為推動回收行業的可持續發展，以提高營運自動化和效率。SCC 獲政府回收基金資助，為回收行業設計一套IT解決方案，及利用智能化技術試行一套固體廢物回收及運輸運作模式，以提高營運自動化和效率，減低成本，推動回收行業的可持續發展。香港品質保證局 (HKQAA) 為這個項目的執行單位。

As funded by the Environmental Protection Department’s Recycling Fund, SCC was going to develop a model for the solid waste collection and transport by making use of geo-informatics solutions. Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency (HKQAA) has been appointed the implementation agent of this project.

A Routine Optimization System with Route Optimization Trial and Smart Weighing Trial will be designed so as to achieve operation efficiency and cost saving.
