Digital Economy Summit (DES 2023) 13-14 April 2023
SCC’s GBA Smart City Forum 13 April afternoon

The “Digital Economy Summit” 2023 (DES 2023), organised by the HKSAR Government and Cyberport, will be staged on April 13-14 at Convention Hall, 1/F of Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), with the theme “Emerging with Resilience: Fostering a Smarter Future”. Smart City Consortium (SCC), being a co-organiser of the Digital Economy Summit, will stage a half-day forum on “Advancing Smart City Development – GBA and Beyond” on the first day (April 13) at 2:30pm-5:30pm in Theatre 1. The forum will look at the latest smart city initiatives of Hong Kong and international practices, alongside the capitalisation of the opportunities in the GBA smart city clusters. 香港特別行政區政府及數碼港主辦的「數字經濟峰會」將於今年4月13-14日在灣仔會展中心一樓Convention Hall舉行，以「蛻變前行 共創智慧未來」為題，討論創新科技如何在疫情後推動社會及經濟發展，迎接下一浪智慧城市動向。

智慧城市聯盟作為合辦機構，將於活動首天 (4月13日) 下午2時半至5時半演講廳1舉辦「優化大灣區及國際智慧城市群的發展」論壇，邀請香港及海外專家講述智慧城市重點基建及多個領域的智能技術，並探討如何抓緊大灣區智慧城市群的機遇。了解更多請按此。

SCC Smart City Pavilion at InnoEX (12-15 April 2023)

The HKSAR Government and the HKTDC will co-organise an inaugural InnoEX on 12-15 April 2023. The InnoEX will be a prominent I&T event displaying cutting-edge technologies and disruptive innovations, facilitating regional and cross-sector collaborations among enterprises and government administrations, with a special focus in Asia. SCC will stage a "Smart Living Pavilion" at the InnoEX in Hall 3G-B02, HKCEC, showcasing the “Smart Living” technologies of Hong Kong companies, including:

SCC Smart Living Pavilion at “Think Business, Think HK”, Bangkok (July 13-14)

Think Business, Think Hong Kong「成就機遇．首選香港」is a signature promotion campaign organised by the HKTDC on 13-14 July 2023 to showcase HK as a resilient business and innovation hub facilitating global businesses to capture new demands and realise business opportunities worldwide. The two-day B2B trade exhibition will be held at Centara Grand and Bangkok Convention Centre at Central World in Bangkok, showcasing a wide array of innovative products from Hong Kong with anticipation in tapping into new business opportunities of Thailand and nearby countries. Data Analytics Training on Maximizing the Value in Customer Data

SCC’s Data Analytics Training on “Maximizing the Value in Customer Data” will be held on May 17 at 4-6 p.m at H6 Conet Function Room ACD (G/F, The Center,99 Queen’s Road Central). Call for Applications for the Hong Kong openBIM/openGIS Awards 2023

The Hong Kong Alliance of Built Asset & Environment Information Management Associations (HKABAEIMA) and the Hong Kong Chapter of buildingSMART International are launching the Hong Kong openBIM/openGIS Awards 2023 this year, to recognize best practices and innovations of openBIM and/or openGIS applications in project delivery and/or lifecycle asset management in the built asset industry in Hong Kong. Renowned experts in both local and global arena will serve as judging panel members, and SCC is a supporting organisation.

There are three categories of submission: (1) Project Category; (2) Research Category, and (3) Technology Category. Please find attached the flyer with more details of the Awards and application procedures.

Intelligent and Innovative SME Business Awards 2023, themed on “Smart Planning for Sustainable Businesses and Succession”, aims to recognize outstanding SMEs and their business partners with their intelligent and innovative business strategies, and ultimately, encourage and foster the sustainable development of SME’s businesses. Geolab talks and workshops
Geolab 專題講座及工作坊

由發展局成立、東華三院和SCC分別作為營運機構和支援組織的「地理空間實驗室」將在四月舉行以下公眾活動:

1. 「地理信息系統 (GIS) 簡介」地理空間資訊專業工作坊將於4月12日下午3時至5時假地理空間實驗室 (九龍觀塘觀塘道388號創紀之城1期1座9樓915-918室)舉行，工作坊亦設線上旁聽。客席講師為香港地理信息系統學會執委郝亮小姐。
2. 「GIS於可持續旅遊規劃中的應用 (工作坊) 」將於4月15日上午10時至中午12時假地理空間實驗室舉行，工作坊亦設線上旁聽。客席講師包括香港地理信息系統學會榮譽秘書長兼嶺南大學科學教研組助理教授王沛欣博士，及香港地理信息系統學會成員朱哲希先生 、林梓瀛先生、唐沅檠小姐。
3. 一連兩日的「以三維數據塑造世界」工作坊將於4月21及22日上午10時至下午5時半假地理空間實驗室舉行。參加者可以學習如何運用由空間數據共享平台入門網站下載的免費三維空間數據。
4. 「氣候變化、模擬及其相關空間數據的應用」專題講座將於4月29日上午10時至11時假地理空間實驗室及線上舉行。客席講師為奧雅納主任黄瀚文博士。
