【小小設計師 - 空間數據共享平台及STEM應用第一場工作坊】【Little STEM Application Designers using CSDI 1st Module】
由地理空間實驗室主辦的「小小設計師 - 空間數據共享平台及STEM應用」，目的是向中學生介紹空間數據及地理信息系統的基礎知識。透過收集、分析及應用空間數據，讓學員建立自己獨有的故事地圖。
小小設計師有三場工作坊，第一場「空間數據及地理信息系統簡介」在8月10日開始，「地理信息系統製圖及空間分析」及「運用地理空間數據建立線上應用程序」將分別於8月17及24日舉行。香港地理信息系統學會榮譽秘書長、嶺南大學科學教研組助理教授王沛欣博士是其中一位講者。
「地理空間實驗室」由發展局設立、東華三院營運、智慧城市聯盟支援運作。
Geospatial Lab has offered secondary students “Little STEM Application Designers using CSDI” training with to enable them to build their own story maps by collecting, analyzing and applying spatial data.
There are 3 modules; the first one on “Introduction to Spatial Data and GIS” kicked off on August 10.
Following will be “GIS Mapping and Spatial Analysis” on August 17 and “Using Geospatial Data to Build Web-based Applications” on August 24. Dr Paulina Wong, Honorary Secretary of HKGISA and Assistant Professor, Science Unit, Lingnan University, was one of the lecturers.
“Geospatial Lab” is established by the Development Bureau, operated by Tung Wah Group of Hospitals and supported by Smart City Consortium (SCC).
