This is the first time for SCC to hold a Smart City Pavilion in the ICT Expo organized by the HKTDC and we are glad to be part of it to promote electronic identity (eID) concepts to the participants and guests. The theme of the Expo this year was “Smart City: The Way of the Future”.  In the Smart City zone, it showcased solutions for smart mobility and logistics, smart living and intelligent control system.  

SCC had also participated in the Smart City Seminar Series which featured industry experts exploring topics such as eID, Internet security, FinTech, developing smart business through IoT applications, how disruptive technology is driving smart city development, smart mobility and logistics and smart home trends. 

Through the interactions with participants across the world, we have gathered experience from different successful smart city implementations, as well as explored ways to capitalize on the opportunities smart city development bring, so as to do our best in building Hong Kong as a leading smart city in the region.
