SCC FinTech Community Happy Hour 2017
2017 is expected to be another remarkable year in FinTech with emerging new advancements in blockchain, payment, regtech and many other aspects.
Our FinTech Community Happy Hour 2017 which was hosted by Mr. Emil Chan, SCC's Chair of FinTech Committee, was glad to have Cyberport's Chief Public Mission Officer Dr. Toa Charm as the keynote speaker. Dr Charm shared with the participants the newly established Cyberport Smart-space FinTech, one of the world’s largest FinTech hubs to nurture a global FinTech ecosystem in Hong Kong.
The relaxing happy hour gathering was for practitioners, partners and friends who are interested in FinTech. Live music was played by famous busking band Musick TaB and iMusic Idol artists Ida and Jacky.
The event was supported by a number of organizations, including StartHub, PayPedia, iProA, The Association of Cloud and Mobile Computing Professionals, Hong Kong Internet Finance Association, Masterson Technology, Rotary Club of Smart Hong Kong as well as Invotech.
