Smart Technologies Business Development Trade Mission

The United States Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration organized a Smart Technologies Business Development Mission to Hong Kong and Taiwan from 24 April to 28 April 2017. The business development mission was tailor-made for the U.S. technology providers of smart transportation, smart building and tech-enabled financial (FinTech) to understand the business opportunities arising in Hong Kong, Taiwan and the PRC market.

Dr. Winnie Tang, SCC's Co-chair of Steering Committee and Mr. Jason Ngan, SCC's Chair of Smart Healthcare SIG attended the event. Dr. Winnie Tang also delivered a speech and shared the experience on the development of smart city with key members of the U.S. Consulate General as well as other guests during the event.
