Smart City Consortium signs a Memorandum of Understanding with Austrian Technology Corporation (ATC)

On 26 January, 2016, Smart City Consortium signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Austrian Technology Corporation (ATC) in Hong Kong, witnessed by Mr Nicholas Yang, Secretary for Innovation and Technology, Dr. Claudia Reinprecht, Austrian Consul General in Hong Kong, and Ir. Allen Yeung, Government Chief Information Officer. Mr. Eric Yeung, Convener of Smart City Consortium signed the document with Tino Terraneo, Chief Executive Officer of Austrian Technology Corporation. The signing of Memorandum of Understanding will facilitate Smart City information exchange between Austria and Hong Kong. Austria has tremendous experience and outstanding achievements in the development of Smart City, Hong Kong could learn from their experiences.
