Organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council from October 13-16, the “International ICT Expo” is one of the most important and significant trade events of its kind in the region. To reinforce Hong Kong’s position as a leading smart city in the region, SCC will mount a "SCC Smart Living Pavilion" at the Expo. Welcome to explore collaboration with our exhibitors.

The 162 sqm-SCC Pavilion will be located in Hall 1E-D02 of HKCEC, showing products and solutions in Smart Property Management, Smart Infrastructure, Smart Learning, Smart Mapping, Smart Transformation, Smart Office and Smart Parking System. It is funded by the HKSAR Government’s General Support Programme of the Innovation and Technology Fund. 由貿易發展局主辦的「國際資訊科技博覽」是亞洲區內最具規模的資訊科技展覽會之一，2022年10月13至16日在香港會議展覽中心展覽廳1E舉行。SCC獲政府創新科技署「創新及科技基金一般支援計劃」資助，在博覽會近入口當眼位置設立「SCC智慧生活展館」，介紹香港公司有關「智慧物業管理」、「智慧基建」、「智慧學習」、「智慧製圖」、「智慧轉型」、「智慧辦公室」及「自動泊車系統」的技術及產品。歡迎參觀洽談合作，索取入場證請瀏覽 https://www.hktdc.com/event/ictexpo/tc。

2. SCC Seminar on“Smart City Blueprint 3.0” on Oct 14 afternoon

SCC has launched a public consultation on Smart City Blueprint 3.0, with the HK General Chamber of Commerce and PolyU Jockey Club Design Institute for Social Innovation as strategic partners. An advisory paper based on public views is being compiled by SCC and will be presented to the Government at a SCC seminar, themed“ HK’s Smart City Development – The Way Forward”, on October 14 at 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. in “The Stage” at Hall 1E of HKCEC. 　

The seminar will be conducted in Cantonese by Professor KK Ling, Director of Jockey Club Design Institute for Social Innovation of Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and Mr Daniel Chun, SCC’s Vice President and Chairman of Research and Blueprint Committee. Mr Chun has led the SCC’s public consultation on Blueprint 3.0 and consolidated the views.

SCC在副會長兼研究及藍圖委員會主席秦仲宇先生領導下，剛就智慧城市發展完成公眾諮詢，現正撰寫「香港智慧城市藍圖3.0」建議書，並於10月14日上述研討會即場提交政府；香港總商會及香港理工大學賽馬會社會創新設計院為合作機構。

研討會由香港理工大學賽馬會社會創新設計院總監凌嘉勤教授和秦仲宇先生主講，以廣東話進行，須預先登記。

SCC除參加在香港舉行的「國際資訊科技博覽」 外，也積極在中國內地及國際市場物色有規模的展覽會，設置展館，介紹香港公司與「智慧城市」有關的設備和服務。SCC獲香港特別行政區政府工業貿易署工商機構支援基金(TSF)撥款資助，去年12月27至29日在深圳中國國際高新技術成果交易會（簡稱高交會），設置「香港智慧城市展館」，展示香港25家公司與物聯網、訊息安全及房地產科技範疇有關的產品或服務，佔地近250平方米。另外，網上展會於12月27至31日舉行。香港軟件行業協會和香港資訊科技聯會是「香港智慧城市展館」的合作機構。詳細展館報告請按此。

SCC「香港智慧城市展館」在高交會首天舉行開幕禮，由SCC名譽財務長范家珩先生主持，香港特別行政區政府深圳聯絡辦主任、香港及內地科技界領導擔任剪綵嘉賓。SCC展館吸引到內地及香港媒體報導。「香港智慧城市展館」獲主辦單位頒發「優秀展示獎」。

由於疫情關係，2021 高交會除一再延期外，實體展期由原來的五天改為三天，展期縮短了，參展規模及入場人數不及往年理想，屬預期之內。參展商表示理解去年情況特殊，所有參展商(100%)表示有興趣再次參加同類展覽。

2019年中央政府公布《粵港澳大灣區發展規劃綱要》，在創新科技方面，提到建設國際科技創新中心，和加快基礎設施互聯互通。預計香港與內地在智慧城市產業尤其是資訊科技方面將有很大合作空間。國家具備強大的科技和製造實力，而香港一向是個充滿創造力和創業精神的地方，香港是中國內地對外經濟合作的重要窗口，也是內地企業「走出去」的首選服務平台，目前香港很多資訊科技產品服務供應商在香港及海外都已建立廣泛的業務網絡，對國際營商經驗豐富，懂得如何運用適切的商業渠道經營業務。香港可以配合內地企業連結海外市場。

SCC set up a Hong Kong Smart City Pavilion at the “China Hi-Tech Fair” in Shenzhen on 27-29 December 2021 (and online on 27-31 December 2021) to reinforce Hong Kong’s position as a leading smart city in the region. The technologies/ services of 25 Hong Kong companies in IoT, Information Security and PropTech sectors were presented to mainland users in an area of about 250 sqm..

The opening ceremony of SCC Pavilion took place on December 27, hosted by SCC Honorary Treasurer Sam Fan and officiated by representatives from HKSAR Government Shenzhen Liaison Unit, and industry leaders from Hong Kong and mainland. The SCC project was funded by the Trade and Industrial Organisation Support Fund, Trade and Industry Department, HKSAR Government. Hong Kong Software Industry Association and Hong Kong Information Technology Joint Council were collaborating organisations.

Despite the less encouraging number of exhibitors and visitors of the 2021 event due to the pandemic, all exhibitors (100%) in the SCC Pavilion indicated they would participate again. It is widely believed there are promising room for collaboration between HK and mainland smart living sectors. SCC is planning to organize a HK pavilion in the 2023 event.
