    本屆數字經濟峰會將於2024年4月12-13日假香港會議展覽中心舉行，SCC將聯同香港應用科技研究院於4月12日下午舉辦「能源、環境與出行論壇」。

    The “Digital Economy Summit” 2024 (DES 2024) will be staged on April 12-13 at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. SCC, jointly with ASTRI, will stage a half-day “Energy, Environment and Mobility Forum” on the first day afternoon.

    Jointly organised by the Government of HKSAR and Cyberport, DES 2024 will bear the theme of “Smarter Technovation for All: Forging a Sustainable Future” to provide an excellent platform for renowned industry experts, global thought leaders, and policy makers to exchange insights on how cutting-edge technologies and innovative applications reshape the urban landscape and modern digital economy through the lenses of sustainability, connectivity, and resilience.

    政府應大力推動本港低空經濟發展
    Government urged to develop "Low-altitude Economy"

    SCC聯同民建聯及業界專家，在2月8日舉辦媒體簡介會，介紹低空經濟在本地發展的機遇及挑戰，及未來的政策倡議計劃。

    講者包括民建聯副主席兼立法會議員葛珮帆、民建聯立法會議員劉國勳、SCC 創辦人兼榮譽會長鄧淑明博士、SCC資訊科技管理委員會主席龐博文，及香港科技大學計算機科學及工程學系教授李默博士。

    葛珮帆議員認為政府應大力推動本港低空經濟發展，包括加快智能交通系統建設，促進信息技術的創新應用(如物聯網、雲計算、大數據等)；把低空經濟盡快納入北部都會區發展規劃中；加強人才培訓，創造就業機會；及激活初創生態圈，推動在港上市集資活動。更多内容請看

    SCC, DAB and a University of Science and Technology scholar held a press briefing on February 8 urging the government to support the development of a "low-altitude economy" (LAE) in the city.

    Hon Elizabeth Quat said that Hong Kong's economy needs diversified development. The low-altitude economy is one of the focuses on the mainland and one of the national strategic emerging industries. Dr Winnie Tang, SCC’s Founder and Honorary President, explained that a low-altitude economy encompasses activities occurring in the airspace up to 1,000 metres above ground level. This includes drones, unmanned aerial vehicles, and potentially even flying transport. Please see above link (in Chinese) for more details.

    第三屆 大灣區校際人工智能E-級方程式賽車比賽
    3rd Inter school AI Formula Edge (GBA) Competition

    SCC及STEM Plus於2023年12月15-17日在亞洲博覽館舉辦「第三屆大灣區校際人工智能E-級方程式賽車比賽」，比賽吸引20間學校逾77支隊伍超過320名師生參與。參賽的年輕人自製參賽戰車，並為戰車融入人工智能和編程，積極發揮創意。創新科技及工業局、科學園、數碼港、生產力促進局、職訓局轄下的香港資訊科技學院、教育城及香港電子業商會為支持機構。

    資科辦總監黃志光和葛珮帆議員12月17 日出席決賽及頒獎禮，擔任主禮嘉賓。多家支持機構都有派出高層代表出席典禮及頒獎。

    SCC and STEM Plus organised the 3rd Inter-school AI Formula Edge (GBA) Competition on 15-17 December 2023 in Asia World Expo. The Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau, HK Science and Technology Parks Corporation, Cyberport, HK Productivity Council, Hong Kong Institute of Information Technology (of VTC), Education City and HK Electronics Industry Association were supporting organizations of the competition.

    Government Chief Information Officer Tony Wong and Hon Elizabeth Quat, who were the Guests of Honour, and senior representatives from the supporting organisations attended the Closing cum Prize Presentation Ceremony on December 17 afternoon.

    2023金融科技大獎
    FinTech Awards 2023

    由經濟通主辦、SCC為策略夥伴的「2023金融科技大獎」目的是表揚本港在金融科技發展上有顯著實踐的企業及金融科技專業人士。頒獎典禮於2024年1月18日舉行。

    The FinTech Awards 2023, organized by ET Net with SCC as a Strategic Partner, aimed at commending the best FinTech practices and recognizing outstanding FinTech professionals from HK-based companies.

    Dr Winnie Tang, SCC’s Founder and Honorary President, was the Head of Judge. Chairman of SCC FinTech Committee Emil Chan were on the Panel of Judges. The Award Presentation Ceremony was held on 18 January 2024. Please visit the above link for events details and names of winners.

    The Geospatial Lab (GeoLab), established by the Development Bureau, operated by Tung Wah Group of Hospitals and supported by SCC, is organising the CSDI Awards 2024 for students and the public to create innovative and feasible solutions for existing city challenges through the use of spatial data available on the Common Spatial Data Infrastructure (“CSDI”) portal.

    第三屆 大灣區校際人工智能E-級方程式賽車比賽
    3rd Inter school AI Formula Edge (GBA) Competition

    SCC及STEM Plus於2023年12月15-17日在亞洲博覽館舉辦「第三屆大灣區校際人工智能E-級方程式賽車比賽」，比賽吸引20間學校逾77支隊伍超過320名師生參與。參賽的年輕人自製參賽戰車，並為戰車融入人工智能和編程，積極發揮創意。創新科技及工業局、科學園、數碼港、生產力促進局、職訓局轄下的香港資訊科技學院、教育城及香港電子業商會為支持機構。

    資科辦總監黃志光和葛珮帆議員12月17 日出席決賽及頒獎禮，擔任主禮嘉賓。多家支持機構都有派出高層代表出席典禮及頒獎。

    SCC and STEM Plus organised the 3rd Inter-school AI Formula Edge (GBA) Competition on 15-17 December 2023 in Asia World Expo. The Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau, HK Science and Technology Parks Corporation, Cyberport, HK Productivity Council, Hong Kong Institute of Information Technology (of VTC), Education City and HK Electronics Industry Association were supporting organizations of the competition.

    Government Chief Information Officer Tony Wong and Hon Elizabeth Quat, who were the Guests of Honour, and senior representatives from the supporting organisations attended the Closing cum Prize Presentation Ceremony on December 17 afternoon.

    FinTech Awards 2023

    The FinTech Awards 2023, organized by ET Net with SCC as a Strategic Partner, aimed at commending the best FinTech practices and recognizing outstanding FinTech professionals from HK-based companies.

    The Geospatial Lab (GeoLab), established by the Development Bureau, operated by Tung Wah Group of Hospitals and supported by SCC, is organising the CSDI Awards 2024 for students and the public to create innovative and feasible solutions for existing city challenges through the use of spatial data available on the Common Spatial Data Infrastructure (“CSDI”) portal.
