為促進官商民合作建構交流平台 共同推動智慧城市發展

 

【香港,2018年2月7日】由智慧城市聯盟主辦的香港智慧城市藍圖午宴已於今天下午12時30時在香港會議展覽中心紫荊廳完滿舉行。

 

午宴有幸邀請到香港特別行政區行政長官林鄭月娥女士,大紫荊勳賢,GBS作主講嘉賓,另外亦邀請到中央人民政府駐香港特別行政區聯絡辦公室副主任陳冬先生、創新及科技局局長楊偉雄先生,GBS,JP、政府資訊科技總監楊德斌工程師,JP、中國城市和小城鎮改革發展中心智慧低碳城市處處長兼智慧城市發展聯盟秘書長鄭明媚女士,以及一眾資訊科技界同業、智慧城市專家及社會賢達出席,共同就香港政府於2017年12月15日發布的香港智慧城市藍圖交流意見,並為香港未來的智慧城市發展集思廣益。

 

智慧城市聯盟創辦人、榮譽主席及督導委員會主席葛珮帆議員,BBS,JP於歡迎致辭中,指出智慧城市聯盟自成立以來舉辦並支持了超過250個活動,更與來自12個不同地區及國家的組織,簽訂共23份諒解備忘錄。葛珮帆議員亦分享了智慧城市聯盟的近期工作,包括出版講解智慧城市概念的書籍《智慧城市3.0》、向政府提交諮詢報告、與KPMG、中電集團、JOS及西門子共同發布就香港智慧城市發展的研究報告,以及推出全新商業配對平台「領智網」,以建構獨特的生態系統,促進初創企業發展;行政長官林鄭月娥女士於主題演講中談及香港政府就智慧城市發展的政策方針,並指出將全力支持本地創新科技發展;在交流環節中,智慧城市聯盟主席楊全盛作為主持,與政府資訊科技總監楊德斌工程師、啟迪國際有限公司主席馬志剛先生、中國移動香港董事兼行政總裁李帆風先生、電訊盈科工程部董事總經理林榮執先生、亞洲公匙基建聯盟副主席季瑞華先生就智慧城市發展的生態環境互動交流。

 

午宴期間,在中央人民政府駐香港特別行政區聯絡辦公室副主任陳冬先生、創新及科技局局長楊偉雄先生,GBS,JP,與智慧城市聯盟創辦人、榮譽主席及督導委員會主席葛珮帆議員,BBS,JP的見證下,智慧城市聯盟創辦人及榮譽主席鄧淑明博士與中國城市和小城鎮改革發展中心智慧城市發展聯盟秘書長鄭明媚女士簽訂合作備忘錄,雙方將共同推動全球智慧城市聯盟發展,以搭建全球智慧城市創新平台,並透過擴大資金、技術和項目需求等方面的信息交流,推動資源整合共享、優勢互補,加強各國創新能力和技術的交流互動,從而實現智慧城市技術的本地化和商業化。

 

是次午宴完滿舉行,有賴啟迪國際、快易通有限公司、中國移動香港和電訊盈科等機構全力贊助。智慧城市聯盟未來將繼續努力,連結各界人士,共同實現智慧城市願景。

Press Release for Smart City Blueprint Luncheon:

Create a platform for Public-Private-People Partnership 

to promote smart city development 

 

Hong Kong, 7th February 2018 - Hosted by Smart City Consortium (SCC), the Smart City Blueprint Luncheon was successfully held at 12:30 p.m. at the Bauhinia Room of Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. 

 

SCC has the greatest honour to have invited The Hon Mrs Carrie LAM CHENG Yuet-ngor, GBM, GBS as the keynote speaker on the luncheon. Mr CHEN Dong, Deputy Director of The Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Mr Nicholas YANG, GBS, JP, Secretary for Innovation and Technology of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Ir Allen YEUNG, JP, Government Chief Information Office of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and Ms ZHENG Mingmei, Secretary General of Smart City Development Alliance and Director of Division of Smart and Low-carbon Cities of China Center for Urban Development, together with numerous practitioners from the Information & Communication Technology Industry, smart city experts and community leaders also joined the luncheon to share ideas on the Smart City Blueprint for Hong Kong published on 15th December 2017. 

 

 

In the Welcome Remarks, Dr Hon Elizabeth QUAT, BBS, JP, Founder, Honorary President and Chairman of Steering Committee of Smart City Consortium, shared that SCC has organized and supported more than 250 events, and signed 23 Memorandums of Understanding with organisations from 12 different countries or regions since the establishment. Dr QUAT also highlighted the recent effort of SCC, including the publication of a book, namely “Smart City 3.0” to explain different concepts of smart city, submission of responses to smart city blueprint, jointly releasing a survey report on smart city development in Hong Kong with KPMG, CLP, JOS and Siemens, and launching “LinkedSmart”, an innovative business-matching platform to create a unique ecosystem to support the development of startups. In the keynote speech, Mrs Carrie LAM explained the Government's policy initiatives in developing smart city in Hong Kong with full support to the local innovation and technology sector in Hong Kong. During the sharing session hosted by Mr Eric YEUNG, President of SCC, Ir. Allen YEUNG, JP, Mr Karl MA, Chairman of TUS International Limited, Mr. Sean Lee, Director & Chief Executive Officer of China Mobile Hong Kong, Mr Peter LAM, Managing Director of engineering department of PCCW-HKT Limited and Mr. William GEE, Vice-Chairman of APKIC deliberated on the ecosystem for smart city development in Hong Kong.

 

 

At the luncheon, witnessed by Mr CHEN Dong, Mr Nicholas YANG, GBS, JP and Dr, Elizabeth QUAT, BBS, JP, Dr. Winnie TANG, Founder and Honorary President of SCC, on behalf of SCC, signed a Memorandum of Understanding for Global Smart City Consortium with Smart City Development Alliance represented by Ms ZHENG Mingmei, Secretary General of Smart City Development Alliance and Director of Division of Smart and Low-carbon Cities of China Center for Urban Development. The Global Smart City Consortium will endeavour in establishing an innovative platform for smart city across the globe. By promoting complimentary sharing on funding, technologies resources and project demands, Global Smart City Consortium will contribute to realizing localisation and commercialisation of smart city technologies.
